The Salvation Army hopes to provide 900+ holiday meal baskets (the majority to be used for Thanksgiving, others available for Christmas assistance) to families and individuals in need within our community. Please sign up to provide ALL of the following items to be used for one complete basket/family. If you would like to provide more than one basket, feel free to do so, but we ask donations be in full basket arrangements rather than bulk donations of any one item. (The Salvation Army will be providing the meat for each basket from another source.)
DELIVERY: Donations need to be dropped off at The Salvation Army, 506 S. 29th Street, Hbg, 17104 on Monday, 11/18, 12:00pm-3:00pm or Tuesday 11/19, 8:00am - 11:00am. Please use the Rudy road entrance to the building, not the main entrance on 29th street. The Rudy road entrance will be gated. You can press the call button on the call box outside of the gate and reception will answer and let you approach the building. Please pull your car to the third garage door. Someone will come out and help you take your donation inside.

SHOPPING LIST:
Instant mashed potatoes (x1 26oz box)
Stuffing Mix (x2 6oz boxes or x1 12oz box)
Cranberry sauce (x2 14oz cans)
Turkey gravy mix (x2 packets or x2 10.5 cans *no glass)
Green beans (x2 14 oz cans)
Rice or Noodles (1 lb. dry bag)
Mixed vegetables OR corn (x2 14 oz cans)
Applesauce OR fruit cocktail (x1 large can (~100oz) or plastic jar (~46oz))
Jiffy pie mix and canned pie filling (30 oz) OR
Family size boxed dessert mix (one step, easy mixes are the best)
*Please purchase all non-perishable items that are properly sealed and not out of date.
*Please do not purchase any glass jars! They break in the boxes - makes a mess!
*Please pack items in plastic or reusable grocery bags. You can also pack in a box!
*Please do not add anything "extra" (decor, candy, extra food). All baskets are re-packed so they all look the same and can be given out fairly to our clients.
